Sheikh ibn Uthaymeen رحمه الله said:
“The prescribed legal supplications (morning, evening, before sleep adhkar and other prescribed duas) are an unbreakable fortress stronger than the barrier of Yajuj and Majuj but with great regret I say this, many people lack knowledge about these supplications.”

Below is the Authenitic morning and evening adhkar from the sunnah compiled by Sheikh Saleh al-Usaymi from his book “الخُلاصَة الحَسنَاء في أذكار الصَّباح والمَسَاء” with translation and transliteration.
Morning Adhkar | أذكار الصَّباح
And its time is from fajr until the rising of the sun | ووقتُها مِن طلوعِ الفجرِ الثَّاني إلى طلوعِ الشَّمسِ
اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّي لا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ، خَلَقْتَنِي وَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ، وَأَنَا عَلَى عَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ، أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا صَنَعْتُ، أَبُوءُ لَكَ بِنِعْمَتِكَ عَلَيَّ، وَأَبُوءُ لَكَ بِذَنْبِي فَاغْفِرْ لِي، فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ (مَرَّةً وَاحِدَةً)
Allāhumma anta rabbī lā ilāha illā anta, khalaqtanī wa anā ‘abduk, wa anā ‘alā ‘ahdika wa wa‘dika ma astata‘t, a‘ūdhubika min sharri mā ṣana‘t, abū’u laka bini‘matika ‘alayya, wa abū’u laka bidhanbī faghfir lī, fa innahu lā yaghfiru adh-dhunūba illā ant. (Once).
O Allaah You are my Lord, there is none worthy of worship in truth except You, You created me and I am Your slave and I abide by Your covenant and promise as best as I can, I seek refuge in You from the evil that I have committed, I fully acknowledge to you your favor upon me and I fully acknowledge to you my sins, so forgive me verily no one forgives sins except You.
يَا حَيُّ يَا قَيُّومُ بِرَحْمَتِكَ أَسْتَغِيثُ، أَصْلِحْ لِي شَأْنِي كُلَّهُ، وَلَا تَكِلْنِي إِلَى نَفْسِي طَرْفَةَ عَيْنٍ
(مرة واحدة)
Ya hayyu ya qayyum birahmatika ast-a-ghayth, Aslih li sha ni kulahu, w la takilni ila nafsi tarfata ‘ayn (once)
O Ever Living One, O Self-Subsisting and Supporter of all, by Your Mercy I seek relief. Rectify all of my affairs.
And do not leave me to myself for the blink of an eye.
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْعَافِيَةَ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالآخِرَةِ، اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْعَفْوَ وَالْعَافِيَةَ فِي دِينِي وَدُنْيَايَ وَأَهْلِي وَمَالِي، اللَّهُمَّ اسْتُرْ عَوْرَاتِي وَآمِنْ رَوْعَاتِي، اللَّهُمَّ احْفَظْنِي مِنْ بَيْنِ يَدَيَّ وَمِنْ خَلْفِي، وَعَنْ
يَمِينِي وَعَنْ شِمَالِي وَمِنْ فَوْقِي، وَأَعُوذُ بِعَظَمَتِكَ أَنْ أُغْتَالَ مِنْ تَحْتِي
(مَرَّةً وَاحِدَةً)
Allāhumma innī as aluka al-‘āfiyah fī ad-dunyā wal-ākhirah, allāhumma innī as aluka al-‘afwa wal-‘āfiyah fī dīnī wa dunyāya wa ahlī wa mālī, allāhumma astur ‘awrātī wa āmin raw‘ātī, allāhumma ḥfaẓnī min bayna yadayya wa min khalfī, wa ‘an yamīnī wa ‘an shimālī wa min fawqī, wa a‘ūdhū bi-‘aẓamatika an ughtāla min taḥtī. (Once).
O Allah, I ask You for well-being in this world and in the Hereafter. O Allah, I ask You for forgiveness and well-being in my religious and worldly affairs, and in my family and my wealth. O Allah, conceal my faults and calm my fears. O Allah, protect me from in front of me, from behind me, from my right, from my left, and from above me. And I seek refuge in Your greatness from being taken unaware from beneath me.
اللَّهُمَّ عَالِمَ الغَيْبِ وَالشَّهَادَةِ، فَاطِرَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ، رَبَّ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ وَمَلِيكَهُ، أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ، أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ نَفْسِي، وَمِنْ شَرِّ الشَّيْطَانِ وَشِرْكِهِ. (مَرَّةً وَاحِدَةً)
Allāhumma ‘ālim al-ghayb wa ash-shahādah, fāṭir as-samāwāti wal-arḍ, rabba kulli shay’in wa malīkahu, ash-hadu alā ilāha illā ant, a‘ūdhū bika min sharri nafsī, wa min sharri ash-shayṭāni wa shirkihi. (Once).
O Allah, Knower of the unseen and the seen, creator of the heavens and the earth, Lord of everything and its possessor, I bear witness that there is none worthy of worship in truth except You. I seek refuge in You from the evil of my own self, and from the evil of Shaytan and his ascribing of partners with you (shirk).
رَضِيتُ بِاللهِ رَبًّا، وَبِالإِسْلَامِ دِينًا، وَبِمُحَمَّدٍ ﷺ نَبِيًّا (ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ)
Raḍītu billāhi rabban, wa bil-islāmi dīnan, wa bimuḥammadin sala Allahu alayhi w salam nabiyyan. (Three times).
I am pleased with Allah as my lord, and with Islam as my religion, and with Muhammad ﷺ as my prophet
بِسْمِ اللهِ الَّذِي لَا يَضُرُّ مَعَ اسْمِهِ شَيْءٌ فِي الأَرْضِ وَلَا فِي السَّمَاءِ وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ العَلِيمُ (ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ)
Bismillāhi alladhī lā yaḍurru ma‘a ismihī shay’un fī al-arḍi walā fī as-samā’(i), wa huwa as-samī‘u al-‘alīm. (ṯhree times).
In the name of Allah with Whose name nothing can harm on earth or in heaven, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.
لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا الله وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ المُلكُ وَلَهُ الحَمْدُ، وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ. (عَشْرَ مَرَّاتٍ)
Lā ilāha illā Allāh(u) waḥdahu lā sharīka lahu, lahu al-mulku wa lahu al-ḥamdu, wa huwa ‘alā kulli shay’in qadīr(un). (Ten times).
There is none worthy of worship in truth except Allah, and He is alone, He has no partner, to Him belongs the dominion and all praise and He is able to do all things
سُبْحَانَ اللهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ (مِائَةَ مَرَّةٍ، وَيُرْجَى مَا شَاءَ اللهُ شَرْطًا فِي العِبَادَةِ فِيهِ)
Subḥāna Allāh(i) wa bi-ḥamdihī. (One Hundred times)
Glory be to Allah and all praise is due to Him.
اللَّهُمَّ بِكَ أَصْبَحْنَا وَبِكَ أَمْسَيْنَا، وَبِكَ نَحْيَا وَبِكَ نَمُوتُ، وَإِلَيْكَ النُّشُورُ
(مَرَّةً وَاحِدَةً)
Allāhumma bika aṣbaḥnā wa bika amsaynā, wa bika naḥyā wa bika namūtu, wa ilayka an-nushūr. (Once).
O Allah, by You we enter the morning and by You we enter the evening, by You we live and by You we die, and to You is the Final Return
أَصْبَحْنَا وَأَصْبَحَ المُلكُ لِلهِ، وَالحَمدُ لِلهِ، لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا الله وَحدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ المُلكُ وَلَهُ الحَمدُ، وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ، رَبِّ أَسْأَلُكَ خَيْرَ مَا فِي هَذَا اليَومِ، وَخَيْرَ مَا بَعدَهُ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِن شَرِّ مَا فِي هَذَا اليَومِ، وَشَرِّ مَا بَعدَهُ، رَبِّ أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الكَسَلِ، وَسُوءِ الكِبَرِ، رَبِّ أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِن عَذَابٍ فِي النَّارِ، وَعَذَابٍ فِي القَبرِ (مَرَّةً وَاحِدَةً)
Asbahna w asbaha almulku lillah w alhamdulillah la illaha illallah wahdahu la sharika lahu, lahul mulk w lahul hamd w huwa ala kuli shayin qadeer, Rabi as aluka khayra mā fī hādhā al-yawm(i), wa khayra mā ba‘dah(u), wa a‘ūdhū bika min sharri mā fī hādhā al-yawm(i), wa sharri mā ba‘dah(u), rabbi a‘ūdhū bika min al-kasali wa sū’i al-kibar(i) rabi audhu bika min adhabin fi nar w adhabin fil qabr. (Once).
We have entered the morning and the sovereignty belongs to Allah. All praise is due to Allah None has the right to be worshipped but Allah alone, Who has no partner. To Allah belongs the sovereignty, and to Him is the praise and He is Able to do all things. My Lord, I ask You for the goodness of this day and of the days that come after it, and I seek refuge in You from the evil of this day and of the days that come after it. My Lord, I seek refuge in You from laziness and helpless old age. My Lord, I seek refuge in You from the punishment of Hell-fire, and from the punishment of the grave.
اللَّهُمَّ مَا أَصْبَحَ بِي مِن نِعْمَةٍ، أَو بِأَحَدٍ مِن خَلقِكَ فَمِنكَ وَحدَكَ لَا شَرِيكَ لَكَ، فَلَكَ الحَمدُ وَلَكَ الشُّكرُ (مَرَّةً وَاحِدَةً)
Allāhumma mā aṣbaḥa bī min ni‘matin aw bi aḥadin min khalqik(a), faminka waḥdaka lā sharīka lak, fa laka al-ḥamdu wa laka ash-shukr. (Once).
O Allah, whatever blessing has been received by me in this morning or anyone of Your creation, it is from You alone, You have no partner. All praise is for You alone and all thanks is to You alone.
أَصْبَحْنَا عَلَى فِطْرَةِ الإِسْلَامِ، وَعَلَى كَلِمَةِ الإِخْلَاصِ، وَعَلَى دِينِ نَبِيِّنَا مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَعَلَى مِلَّةِ أَبِينَا إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَنِيفًا مُسْلِمًا وَمَا كَانَ مِنَ المُشْرِكِينَ. (مَرَّةً وَاحِدَةً فِي الصَّبَاحِ فَقَطْ)
Aṣbaḥnā ‘alā fiṭrati al-islām, wa ‘alā kalimati al-ikhlāṣ(i), wa ‘alā dīn(i) nabīyinā Muḥammad(in) ṣalla Allāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam, wa ‘alā millat(i) abīnā Ibrāhīm ḥanīfan musliman wa mā kāna min al-mushrikīn. (Once in the morning only).
We have entered this morning upon the natural disposition of Islam, upon the statement of sincerity, upon the religion of our Prophet Muhammad (SallaAllahu ‘alayhi wasallam), and upon the path of our father Ibrahim. He was upright (in worshipping Allah), and a Muslim. He was not of those who worshipped others besides Allah
اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّا أَصْبَحْنَا نُشْهِدُكَ وَنُشْهِدُ حَمَلَةَ عَرْشِكَ، وَمَلَائِكَتَكَ، وَجَمِيعَ خَلْقِكَ، أَنَّكَ أَنْتَ اللهُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ وَحْدَكَ لَا شَرِيكَ لَكَ، وَأَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُكَ وَرَسُولُكَ (مَرَّةً وَاحِدَةً، أَوْ اثْنَتَيْنِ، أَوْ ثَلَاثًا، أَوْ أَرْبَعًا فِي الصَّبَاحِ فَقَطْ)
Allāhumma innā aṣbaḥnā nush hiduka wa nush hidu ḥamalata ‘arshik(a), wa malā ikatak(a), wa jamī‘ khalqik(a), annaka anta Allāh(u) lā ilāha illā anta waḥdaka lā sharīka lak(a), wa anna Muḥammad(an) ‘abduka wa rasūluka. (Say once, twice, three or four times in the morning only)
O Allah, I have entered a new morning and call upon You and upon the bearers of Your Throne, upon Your angels and all creation to bear witness that surely You are Allah, there is none worthy of worship but You alone. You have no partners, and that Muhammad is Your slave and Your Messenger
Evening Adhkar | أذكارُ المَسَاء
And its time is from sunset until the disappearance of the red twilight, which is the beginning of the time for ‘Isha (the night prayer). | وَوَقْتُهَا مِنْ غُرُوبِ الشَّمْسِ إِلَى غَيَابِ الشَّفَقِ الأَحْمَرِ، وَهُوَ ابْتِدَاءُ وَقْتِ العِشَاءِ
اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّي لا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ، خَلَقْتَنِي وَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ، وَأَنَا عَلَى عَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ، أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا صَنَعْتُ، أَبُوءُ لَكَ بِنِعْمَتِكَ عَلَيَّ، وَأَبُوءُ لَكَ بِذَنْبِي فَاغْفِرْ لِي، فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ (مَرَّةً وَاحِدَةً)

أَمْسَيْنَا وَأَمْسَى المُلكُ للهِ، وَالحَمْدُ لله، لا إِلٰهَ إِلّا الله وَحْدَهُ لا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ المُلكُ وَلَهُ الحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ، رَبِّ أَسْأَلُكَ خَيْرَ مَا فِي هَذِهِ اللَّيْلَةِ وَخَيْرَ مَا بَعْدَهَا، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا فِي هَذِهِ اللَّيْلَةِ وَشَرِّ مَا بَعْدَهَا، رَبِّ أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الكَسَلِ وَسُوءِ الكِبَرِ، رَبِّ أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عَذَابٍ فِي النَّارِ وَعَذَابٍ فِي القَبْرِ. (مَرَّة واحِدَة)
Amsayna w amsaa almulku lillah w alhamdulillah la illaha illallah wahdahu la sharika lahu, lahul mulk w lahul hamd w huwa ala kuli shayin qadeer, Rabi as aluka khayra mā fī hādhā al-laylati, wa khayra mā ba‘dah(u), wa a‘ūdhū bika min sharri mā fī hādhā al-laylati, wa sharri mā ba‘dah(u), rabbi a‘ūdhū bika min al-kasali wa sū’i al-kibar(i) rabi audhu bika min adhabin fi nar w adhabin fil qabr. (Once).
We have reached the evening, and the sovereignty belongs to Allah. All praise is due to Allah; there is none worthy of worship except Allah alone, with no partner. To Him belongs the sovereignty, and to Him belongs the praise, and He is capable of all things. My Lord, I ask You for the best of what is in this night and the best of what comes after it. I seek refuge in You from the evil of this night and the evil of what comes after it. My Lord, I seek refuge in You from laziness and helpless old age. My Lord, I seek refuge in You from the punishment of the Fire and the punishment of the grave
اللَّهُمَّ مَا أَمْسَى بِي مِن نِعْمَةٍ، أَو بِأَحَدٍ مِن خَلقِكَ فَمِنكَ وَحدَكَ لَا شَرِيكَ لَكَ، فَلَكَ الحَمدُ وَلَكَ الشُّكرُ (مَرَّةً وَاحِدَةً)

أَعُوذُ بِكَلِمَاتِ اللهِ التَّامَّاتِ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ (مرة واحدة في المَسَاءِ فَقَطْ)
a‘ūdhū bikalimat-illahi tamati min shari ma khalaq (One time in the evening only)
I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from the evil of what He has created.
تنبيهٌ: لَا يَلْزَمُ تَرْتِيبُهَا كَذِكْرٍ، وَالْمُرَادُ مِنْهُ الْإِعَانَةُ عَلَى حِفْظِهَا.
Note: It is not necessary to recite them in order, as the purpose is to assist in memorization.
تنبيهٌ آخرٌ: مَنْ اعْتَادَهَا فَنَسِيَهَا أَوْ شُغِلَ عَنْهَا بِلاَ تَفْرِيطٍ حَتَّى خَرَجَ وَقْتُهَا؛ جَازَ لَهُ قَولُهَا بَعْدَهُ.
Another Note: Whoever has a habit of reciting them and then forgets or is distracted from them without negligence until their time passes, it is permissible for them to say them afterward.
وَكَتَبَهُ صَالِحُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ العُصَيْمِيِّ المُدَرِّسُ في المَسْجِدِ الحَرَامِ وَالمَسْجِدِ النَّبَوِيِّ غَفَرَ اللهُ لَهُ وَلِوَالِدَيْهِ وَلِشَيْخِهِ وَلِلمُسْلِمِينَ ضُحًى الأحد تَاسِعَ عَشَرَ ذِي الحِجَّةِ سَنَةَ ١٤٣٣
Written by Ṣāliḥ ibn ʿAbd Allāh ibn Muḥammad al-ʿUṣaymī, a teacher in the Masjid al-Ḥarām and the Prophet’s Mosque. May Allah forgive him, his parents, his teachers, and all Muslims. On the morning of Sunday, the 19th of Dhul-Hijjah, in the year 1433.
